Halloween Poster Final

Prints Available

I liked where this ended up, but it seemed like Bro. Burr still wasn't satisfied. Having a reall background would be cool, but I wasn't sure what he was wanting with the cat. Any ideas?

Final Family Caricature

This is the final with a fixed backgroud and a basically completely different composition. I like it. :) It turned into a family thing instead of just me, which is fun.

Final Master Copy

This is the finished Master Copy assignment. It's a little brighter and more saturated for print, so if your computer's not so good screen quality it still looks good. ;)

Final A-Bomb

This is the final draft of the A-Bomb. I've never printed a digital painting for presentation so I don't think the print for class is very good. I think I should have done it on gloss paper and upped the value over all just a bit to compensate for the awesome color that you get on the screen. Cest la vie. Better next time.

One of these a day would keep ANYTHING away

Apple assignment #2 for Digital Illustration inspired by the health conscious phrase, "An apple a day keeps the doctor away." Yeah, those evil doctors out there don't stand a chance against the new A-Bomb. ;)

I don't feel like it's done. Ideas or critiques anyone?

Watermelon Nerds

Arg!! So, I don't know why the tall skinny watermelon nerd is upside down, but he is for some strange reason. Anyway, my family in law has two exchange students this year and they're both girls. I was talking with one and she told me about how now she LOVES nerds candy, but she didn't know that there were more than just the one flavor that she had already tried. I told her that there were lots of flavors; cherry, apply, watermelon... and when I said watermelon I thought she was going to lose her eyes to the carpet they bugged out so big! Apparently watermelon is her favorite flavor of all time and nerds being her new favorite candy the thought of them together was too awesome to conceive. I loved her reaction so much that I sketched some "watermelon nerds" for her viewing pleasure. She thought they were cute. And I really wish the one wasn't upside down, but that's life I guess.

Campalot

I did this for my mom-in-law, Becky Mills. She's in the YW presidency in our ward here and she asked me to draw something for their T-shirts and their theme was Heavenly Ever After with our YW being Campalot. This castle went on the front. After camp, Becky was nice enough to give me one of the finnished T-shirts. I did the lettering for thr T too, but I'll get that up later. Sorry about the poor scan quality. My sketch book is big and the scanner is small. No bueno.

Kindness begins with Me!

I did this for the Primary class my husband, Jamin, and I teach. The lesson was on being kind and I drew this and another little sketch for the kids to color after class. With a class of 5-6yr olds, we do a lot of coloring. :) A boy helping his mom wash the dishes, if they caught the hint maybe it will help their mom's out a bit. Could there be a little wishful thinking for Brandon's future? Maybe...
